CHUD has a look at the new Nightmare On Elm Street poster and here it is for you kids. What do I think of it? I just don't get excited about horror remakes anymore. The casting of Jackie Earl Haley as Freddy Krueger is pretty spot on but that's where my excitement ends. You know what I'd like to see? Paul: Every time I see Little Children it reminds me of a first date I once had. Comic Con had some footage I believe of the new NOES. Yes...it's finally been reduced to letters! I'm looking forward to this. Of all the "reboots" this has the source material I'm most familiar with. I grew up on NOES. I was Freddy for halloween years ago. I bought a red sweater and sharpie'd in the green stripes. I own all the movies. I don't own all the Halloweens, Friday the 13th's or any of the other franchises. I own all the Nightmares. Yes, even New Nightmare. So this one is a go for me. I'm just hoping there's not an awkward Robert Englund cameo. Ok...I don't own Freddy vs. Jason. By the way, loved him in The Adventures of Ford Fairlane.
