Oh yes it ain't over. Once again it's on and with a resounding "Hell Yeah" I answer the question presented here. DJ Madrid is my boy. Our Boy. Friend of Ours. Pretty peoples I've gone and seen the world and it's seen me and you know what I learned? I ain't seen enough! Behold the man who made 2 weeks of our lives some of the most fun we've ever had and our boy did it all with the 3 healthiest ingredients, beats, funk, and rhythm. Dance floors packed till at least 5am, champagne glasses raised all up in the air, my sweaty ass self jukin'! And that was just the first night pretty peoples.
He brought House music to the Sea that we were sailing on and like all great music should it sent the professionals in Bliss to a whole 'nutha level. What's Bliss you ask? I'll answer that with this question: What's Brooklyn? What's Jersey? It's what we look for and either you find it or it finds you.
DJ Madrid played some straight up old school and deep soul House music and if that didn't get you here's some Pharcyde, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, the GZA, Common, Tribe and he even played that one song that goes "Dahn't Deh Dahn't!".
You know the cut "Last Night A DJ Saved My Life"? Our lives were saved on the Gem by Chicago's very own DJ Madrid. I mean goddamn I danced to House music on the deck of a cruise ship on the Mediterranean Sea on the 4th of July at one point with a live horn section accompanying him. Are you kidding me! Are you pickin' up what I'm putting down?!! That's what professionals do. I'm not gonna tell you too much because I need some memories to hold onto for my own self. My man. DJ Madrid.
